Super Brucey!!

8 Months Old!

The last 8 months have been such a wonderful wild ride! You have changed more than I ever thought possible. You do such a great job sleeping at night. Still an early bird! You always wake with a huge smile and giggle for your Mama. Actually, you laugh and smile all day. At times, you scream for pure joy! We are still trying to get you to understand that the library and nice restaurants are not good places to show this extreme side of your personality. I hope you keep your fun loving ways. Your happiness is so contagious! You are definitely becoming a mover and a shaker. You can roll across a room in a flash. You are very close to crawling...Once you figure out what to do with your knees, God help us! You are eating, eating and eating! Your favorites are macaroni and cheese and peaches. Although, you really don't turn your nose up at anything. I guess that's why you are a whopping 20 pounds! You still enjoy getting out and about. You love the library (I guess that's why you scream with joy as soon as we walk in!). Grandma and Papa Snider's house is also a place you are starting to LOVE! It's very easy to get those two to smile and laugh at your performances on the floor. They even enjoy that screaming for joy thing! You have become a master with using your hands. You still love to grab your Daddy's glasses. You wait until he puts them on you for a second then you are happy to let him be. You love being read to before naps and bedtime. Your Daddy and I lay on the floor with you and read your favorite books. We then let you hold the book and shake it over your head. Some of your favorite titles are Pat the Bunny(your Daddy's book when he was a kid), Little Duck (from your Granny Marjorie), Anything with Tweety Bird or Big Bird and animal touch and feel books. You bring such joy to everyone who meets you. Thank you sweet guy for being you. Love- Mommy and Daddy

Hanging at the Grocery Store Like a Big Boy

Well, I finally put Bruce in the grocery cart seat. He loved getting to be a part of all the action. Not surprisingly, he found and touched the only part of the cart I didn't cover or disinfect. Also, he reached out of the basket and almost picked up an onion!

Our Little Noise Maker!

We have decided that little Bruce has very STRONG lungs! This is a boy who never cries but LOVES to scream for joy....And I do mean SCREAM! When he sees something funny or interesting he lets his Mommy and Daddy know about it! When we pat his back and say shhhhhhhh, he gives us the biggest grin. Hopefully, it's just a phase (At least that is what I kept telling Peter at the Chinese Restaurant the other night!) For now, I guess we will need to invest in a good pair of earplugs!

Fun at the Arbor Hills Nature Park

We spent this beautiful Saturday morning at the Arbor Hillls Nature Park. It is located about 10 minutes away from us in Plano. We never knew this 200 acre park existed until Mommy started researching "Fun Things to Do With a Baby". Having a little one definitely opens up a new world!
