Tummy Time Breakthrough!

I guess the Superman Game has paid off. Bruce is now starting to enjoy tummy time! He will now lay on his tummy for 15 minutes at a time. Way to go Bruce!

Brucey the Superhero!

Well, I finally found a "tummy time" position that little B enjoys. We call it the SUPERMAN! He laughs and giggles every time we lift off. It is very exhausting for mommy but she definitely needs the exercise! It was a beautiful day, so we took our fun game outside while Peter took a few pictures.

Bruce had visitors from Arkansas!

Peter, Bruce and I met Steve and Ida Fineberg at The Pancake House. Steve and Ida are from Arkansas and were in town for Thanksgiving. Bruce was wide awake and ready for action! He smiled, cooed and laughed his way through the entire meal. He LOVED sitting in Ida's lap while Steve made funny faces. Bruce is such a people person!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Peter, Bruce and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my mother and father's house. Bruce LOVED playing with his cousins. He and his cousin Tatum really seemed to form a sweet bond.
Peter baked this yummy pie. He came up with the recipe all on his own. He named it Butter Nut Pie. It is made with peanut butter and butterscotch pudding. TERRIFIC!

3 Months Old Today!

Dear BRUCE,

You're 3 months old today! We feel like we have known you forever. Without you, there would be a HUGE hole in our lives.

You have been very busy this past month.....

You are always SMILING! Oh boy, if you only knew how much this warms your mommy and daddy's hearts. You just seem so happy to be alive!

You have also made a very exciting discovery....your HANDS! You love to bat and swing at your little hanging chicken and frog. You find such joy in getting tangled up in the colorful rings your Grandma Snider bought you. Your Daddy and I laugh when we hear you sucking and smacking on your little fingers and hands on the monitor. One of your favorite things to do is to hold your daddy's hand.

You are getting much stronger and BIGGER everyday. You weigh 14 1/2 pounds! Your head does not wobble quite as much and you can kick like a mule!

One thing you are not so crazy about is "tummy time". We were told by your doctor to put you on your tummy 4 to 5 times a day. You do not appreciate this one little bit! You huff, puff and grunt yourself into a frenzy. Of course, we pick you up quickly and start giving you rapid fire kisses. I can't decide if it's harder on mommy and daddy or you....okay, definitely mommy and daddy! It is so difficult to watch you suffer! We better toughen up or when you become a teenager we are all going to be in...

TROUBLE!

You are so special to us...little man.

We love you,
Mommy and Daddy

Bruce had a blast on Daddy's birthday!

You may be a year older but......
life has just begun! We started the day off with a birthday breakfast at Kuby's German Sausage House. Later, we plan on a nice dinner with gifts. Bruce does such a great job at restaurants. We better enjoy this while it lasts!

These angels are very dear to us. Bruce will know them well because of all the stories and memories we will share. Is it possible that he has already met them? I hope so.....

Bruce had visitors this morning!

My dear friend Hrisanthe Patts and....
Bruce's wonderful Grandma Snider.
Hrisanthe happens to be a UT alumni so Bruce had to show off his orange duds!
